Like any other family, like no other family

"Like any other family, like no other family" was born from the search of a personal identity through parental figures. The analysis of the domestic space, deconstructed, fragmented and reassembled in various forms reveals a perceptive metamorphosis, which encompasses within itself the concept of home in adulthood, a place full of memories still very vivid and intimate and a present perceived in a detached way, behind a defensive barrier made of solid layers and at the same time in deconstruction, just like the walls of the house itself. The analysis of the internal dynamics of the family climate, through the use of photographic media, drawing and a text, allow us to analyze the very structure of the relationship; the language moves on various levels of intensity, and explores the discomfort of feeling like guests, strangers, in the home of one’s childhood.
